VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association) invites you to join us for our weekend kitten adoption fair!
Come see all of our adorable rescue kittens of all personalities, colours, and sizes, meet our dedicated volunteers who will be taking adoption applications and answering all of your cat and kitten care questions. Find the perfect fuzzy little addition to your family.
There will be t-shirts, bracelets, and cupcakes as well!
Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31, 11 am to 4 pm each day, at 1325 Main St at the North Van Petsmart
Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) is a no-kill, non-profit, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland. We also coordinate rescue work with other groups in BC.

Shari is accompanied by daughter Julia Graff (on violin, guitar, mandolin, piano, accordion and vocals) and Julia’s McGill classmate Ted Littlemore (on piano, accordion & vocals). For new and seasoned fans of Shari, this is a show not to be missed! The evening will include songs from the past (“Flying”) to songs from her recent release – “Find Our Way”, her 7th solo album and 19th including her work with UHF, Pied Pumkin, and with Barney Bentall & Tom Taylor.

On Sunday, September 25th, 2011, the North Shore will be hosting The Kidney Foundation’s inaugural KIDNEY RUN.
On behalf of the 145,000 kidney patients in BC, we would appreciate it if you would consider supporting the 2011 KIDNEY WALK campaign and help us raise awareness for the importance of organ donation. The run will provide refreshments and entertainment – and all for a great cause! Registration begins at 8am and the walk itself at 9am.
