All are welcome to join Vancouver Heritage Foundation for a fun, free event that celebrates the grand history of West Hastings Street.
At the heart of downtown Vancouver, West Hastings Street has long been at the centre of the city’s history. The magnificent visual legacy of iconic heritage buildings makes this one of the most memorable streets around.
Join us for music, free coffee and treats and a walking tour of West Hastings Street with civic historian John Atkin. We’ll celebrate the installation of five Places That Matter plaques that each highlight a story of this street and its impact on the city.
