I am married, have lived in West Vancouver for 35 years, 32 of which are on Sentinel Hill. I decided to run for Council as a result of the Evelyn Drive controversy and support single family development in single-family areas. My platform is comprised of "Rob's Top-10 Issues" and is contained in my brochure that is available via E-mail. I have been involved in District Committees – Advisory Finance Commission and most recently as Chair of the Parks and Environment Advisory Committee. I seek your support on November 19th…..Save a Vote for Rob…..
West Vancouver has prospered and improved under Ron Wood's leadership. He has the vision and the energy to make our community even better as we move towards 2010. A 35 year resident, Ron has served on council since 1990 and will continue to work for the best interests of all West Vancouver residents. On November 19th Re-Elect Mayor Ron Wood For West Vancouver.
Inspired ideas, willingness to give, a passion for living here - these are the sparks that bring vibrancy and strength to West Vancouver. As Mayor, I will offer, along with all members of Council, an approach to decision making that seeks out and celebrates these qualities. I welcome your ideas. They are the building blocks of the future of West Vancouver.
Bill Soprovich was re-elected in 2002 for a third consecutive term. During his nine years on Council, he has served on a number of advisory committees, such as Design, Planning, Heritage and more. He has served on numerous other committees of Council, such as the Recreation Facilities Planning Select Committee, the Task Force on Horseshoe Bay and the BC Ferries Terminal Expansion and more. Councillor Soprovich has worked and lived in West Vancouver for over 40 years and has been involved in community service as a volunteer for over 24 years.
Michael has an outstanding record serving and representing this community for over 30 years in Parks, Community Services, Arts, Cultural Services and Heritage. With a professional finance background, he believes his long and successful business career, together with exceptional leadership skills, will allow him to contribute a uniquely balanced approach to both current concerns and the overwhelming challenges facing Council, particularly issues relating to the Olympics, to 2010 and beyond.
