Founded in 1971, the Vancouver Waldorf School is a non-profit organization offering educational programs from Early Childhood through Grade 12 based on the philosophy developed by Dr. Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Our learning methods strive to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual dimensions of the developing child. In addition to imparting knowledge, the school’s intention is to foster in children a sense of reverence and respect for life.

Bodwell High School is “the waterfront school that embraces the world”. We are a non-denominational, co-educational day and boarding school. Currently, we have 350 grades 8 to 12 students, including local and international students from over 35 different countries. With our trimester system, student’s learning is accelerated. Students finish one academic grade in two semesters, and advance to the next grade in the following semester. Semesters start in September, January and May of each year.
