2016 will be the 11th annual running of this Good Works event organized by members of the Canadian West Region of the the Porsche Club of America. Always held on Father’s Day – which will be June 19 this year – the event raises money for medical research to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a deadly genetic disease affecting mainly children and young adults across Canada.
Since starting this event in June of 2006, close to $70,000 has been raised by means of donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada in lieu of entry fees for registering and displaying a Porsche in the show, and by offering rides in the Porsche Parade drive up Cypress Mountain for a donation to CFC at the end of the show.
