Cap Jazz Series - Mike Murley/David Braid Quartet

The Mike Murley/David Braid Quartet featuring Ian Froman (drums) and Jim Vivian (bass). This group features some of the finest talent in Canada's contemporary jazz scene. Mike Murley (saxophones) and Ian Froman are no strangers to the Cap Jazz Series having made two sold-out appearances with the award winning supergroup Metalwood. Pianist David Braid has been gaining a solid national reputation as both a composer and a player.

Cap Jazz Series - Phil Nimmons

Our November 6th concert will be a fitting tribute to the legendary Phil Nimmons. Phil will be joined by "A" Band and NiteCap to celebrate his legacy - a legacy which includes more than 400 original jazz compositions.

Cap Jazz Series - Christmas Classics

Christmas comes but once a year and we're bringing back Christmas Classics with "A" Band and NiteCap, December 10th - our annual holiday concert that is fast becoming a tradition. Special guests (TBA) from our esteemed faculty will be featured for a great celebration of the holiday season.
