Laudate Singers are joined by guitarist Adrian Verdejo in a program pulsing
with tango and exciting new music. The featured work is
Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s fascinating and passionate Romancero Gitano, with
text by the great Spanish poet García Lorca. Expect some Piazzolla and
other South American favourites like Matamoros and , plus the world
premiere of 2 new works by composer-in-residence Marco Del Rio and
