The North Shore’s LIONS GATE YOUTH ORCHESTRA presents our season-ending concert May 22nd on the Kay Meek Main Stage. Featured are Concertmaster Maia Siradze in a Violin Concerto by Bruch, Principal Bass Evan Gratham in a Double Bass Concerto by Capuzzi, and Principal Oboe Max Hsu in “Gabriel’s Oboe” from the movie The Mission.
The full orchestra salutes the 50th birthday of The Sound of Music with a medley of famous melodies! We close with well-known music by Haydn, the “Father of the Symphony”.
