Opening reception: Tuesday March 11th, from 6—8pm.
Spring is a time for renewal, & in keeping with that idea we’re trying something new! We invite all artists, established or aspiring, to take part in our first ever open invitation exhibit! The first 30 artists to submit 1 piece of artwork to the Silk Purse Arts Centre on Saturday March 8th between 3-4pm, will be displayed in the gallery from March 11-30.
All work must embrace the theme of Rebirth and Renewal. We will accept work in any medium, no larger than 24 x 36″, there is limited space for free-standing sculptural work. $10 entry fee. We hope to encourage members of our community to take a chance & share their talents for all to see.
There will also be a People’s Choice Award of a $100 Opus gift card, for the artwork that receives the most votes from visitors to the gallery. People’s Choice Award Winner will be announced in our weekly e-blast.
