The WEST VANCOUVER TRAFFIC CAM is
located in West Vancouver and points towards the Lions
Gate Bridge and the bridge signal lights.
The red and green lights indicate
the southbound traffic flow as one travels over the
bridge from either North Vancouver and/or West Vancouver
(otherwise known as the North Shore of Vancouver).
If only one green signal light is
showing, then there will only be one lane of traffic
open for travelling to downtown and traffic lineups
may occur (resulting in a longer journey). If two green
lights are visible, there should be a
minimal
wait. Traffic signals are usually rotated during busy
hours with the exception of morning and afternoon rush
hours.
During
times of high server volume, your entire page with be
refreshed every 3 minutes to allow other users an opportunity
to view the cam. You will be automatically returned
to this page and the image will reload.
