In celebration of National Senior’s Day on Tuesday October 1st, Vancouver
Aquarium is offering discounts for seniors. On this day, those aged over 65
will get 50% off the price of their admission ticket. They will also
receive 20% all food and beverages, as well as 10% off their gift shop
purchases. In addition, seniors can bring along friends and family, who
will get 10% off their admission ticket.
On the morning of October 1, seniors and their guests are invited to access
the aquarium 30 minutes before doors open to the general public. Seniors
can enjoy a serene start to the day as they browse the galleries before the
crowds.
Whether you’re a regular visitor, or haven’t visited in years,
there’s plenty to see and do:
• Say hello to new sea otter pup Taz, who has recently joined the
Vancouver Aquarium family, after having been rescued in Alaska. Watch as
the seven rescued sea otters wrestle and play, getting to know this
endearing species is a key part of conservation.
• Tuesday is feeding day for our sharks and piranhas – visit the
Tropics Gallery to watch them chow-down.
• Sometimes even a penguin needs a change of scenery! Watch as one of our
African Penguins waddles around our Teck Engagement Gallery, while our
trainers tell you all about this exotic bird.
• Catch our new 4-D movie ‘A Reef Reborn 4-D Experience’ or take the
little ones to see ‘Splash and Bubbles: 4-D Undersea Experience’.
Admission to our 4-D theatre is included in your admission to the aquarium.

October 1, 2019.
